Ananda Yoga
Ananda Yoga is a gentle and highly effective classical approach to hatha yoga that leaves you feeling relaxed, refreshed, and uplifted. In these classes we offer positive affirmations to help you experience the psychological benefits of the physical postures. Ananda Yoga brings greater awareness of our emotional, mental, and spiritual nature, as well as benefits to health.

Ashtanga
Ashtanga is a fast-paced series of sequential postures practiced and taught by yoga master, K Pattabhi Jois. Ashtanga yoga represents the most intensive form of hatha yoga, requiring great stamina and flexibility.
    Ashtanga Flow
These classes are based on the Ashtanga system. The sequencing of (postures) asanas has been altered to create a unique experience with each practice.

    Ashtanga Primary Series
The full primary series is taught following the traditional sequence of postures. This is a challenging, fast paced series of asanas designed to build heat and detoxify the body.

Breathing
"To breathe is to live. To breathe fully is to live fully." - Dennis Lewis.
Learn to deepen your natural breath through practices and exercises passed down through the ages. Shallow breathing can result in or be the result of much of the stress we experience in life. Learn to fully use your respiratory system and let go of the stress in your life during this class.

Eclectic Yoga
A slower paced class, Eclectic Yoga integrates postures, pranayama, chanting and meditation techniques from the Ashtanga, Iyengar, Yin, Restorative and Kundalini yoga traditions taking you deeper into your practice while building increased body awareness.

Facilitated Yoga & Stretch Therapy (FYST)
Designed to address the specific needs of your body, Facilitated Yoga & Stretch Therapy is a unique and personalized program of integrated flexibility and strength work. FYST focuses on alleviating improper body alignment due to muscular imbalances from mis-use or over-use. A combination of breathing exercises, facilitated yoga postures, and active isolated stretching techniques are employed to increase flexibility in your joints, fascia and muscles. The goal of FYST is to bring balance to your breath, bones and muscles through optimal skeletal alignment and muscle functioning. These sessions will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated with a greater range of motion!

Fitness Integrated Training (FIT) with Yoga
F.I.T. Yoga is based off of traditional Hatha Yoga practice and influenced by the Ashtanga practice of linking asanas. In this class we will explore flexibility, strength, concentration, and most importantly movement through a flow yoga practice connecting breath and body. This class is open to all levels and welcomes an open mind without self judgment and competition.

Hatha Flow
A combination of traditional Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga designed to integrate breath with movement. Students will flow from posture to posture less rigorously than in a Vinyasa Yoga class. Hatha Flow is a great class for students of all levels.

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, works to awaken the spiritual force that lies dormant in every human being. Through the practice of kriyas (series of yoga postures), energetic breath work, chanting and meditation, the spiritual force rises up the spine through each chakra bringing new balance, energy and clarity into your life.

Meditation
Meditation promotes awareness, peace, clarity, intuition and overall physical, mental & emotional well-being. While meditation releases blocks and resistances, it simultaneously increases energy levels and enhances effectiveness and efficiency. As Yogi Bhajan said, "Meditation is the process of controlling and transcending the waves of the mind, allowing the flow of radiance from the soul." During this class, we will explore many of the tools, techniques and methods available. You will learn about Buddhist mindfulness meditation and its numerous stages, practices and incarnations. Highlights will be breath awareness, open focus, metta (lovingkindness), karuna (compassion), walking meditation, mirroring, tratakum (gazing) and the body sensation scan. We will also address mala meditation, as well as eye focus, meditation with bandha (lock), mudra (seal), mantra (mind wave projection) & naad (sound current, vibration). We will focus on one or two techniques per class and shift according to class need and interest. This will be an informative—yet predominantly experiential—class. You will come away with a clear overview of the different practices, how to prepare for and perform them, as well as guidance on how to delve deeper into each one. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat/blanket, cushion and headcover if available.

Power Yoga
Power Yoga links poses together to create a core strengthening workout. This class is similar to Ashtanga but allows for more free flowing and creative combination of postures. Inversions, such as headstand, will be practiced in this Power Yoga class.

Restorative Yoga
Relaxing, supported yoga poses designed to restore energy, rejuvenate your spirit, while soothing your mind are taught in Restorative Yoga. This class helps bring balance to your life and yoga practice by slowing you down. This stress reducing class is ideal for students of all levels!

Relax & Rejuvenate
A combination of gentle, restorative and yin yoga practices along with guided breathing and meditation. The perfect way to let go of the week and restore yourself for the weekend!

Vinyasa Yoga
A flowing form of traditional Hatha yoga that focuses on integrating breath with movement, taking students from one posture to the next, while sustaining some postures. The flowing movement of this practice harmonizes body, breath, mind and spirit. The increased pace of this practice strengthens the heart, creates better balance and encourages grace. The result is meditation in motion.

    Heated Vinyasa Yoga
Experience the wonders of Vinyasa yoga in a room heated to 80 degrees. The heat helps to warm-up yours muscles allowing you to move deeper into each posture.

    Vinyasa Yoga Basics
Learn and practice the grace of Vinyasa yoga by integrating breath with movement. The Vinyasa Yoga Basics class takes students from one posture to the next, while working on form and alignment. The flowing movement of this practice harmonizes body, breath, mind and spirit. The slower pace of this practice makes it a great choice for students new to yoga.
Yin Yoga
This class consists of postures selected to gently stretch and release the connective tissues around major joints. This slight pressure on the joints is highly beneficial to mobility and overall health. Postures are performed with muscles held as relaxed as possible (body weight is used for leverage as needed), and are held anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes.

Yoga Basics
This gentle yoga class is suitable for beginners, students recovering from injuries or those interested in concentrating on form and alignment. Yoga Fundamentals focuses on strengthening the body, increasing balance and flexibility with the aid of yoga props.

Yoga Conditioning
Strengthen, lengthen and tone your muscles while gaining flexibility and improving your stamina, balance and overall yoga practice. Using yoga postures and breathing techniques, this mindful conditioning class also uses the physical conditioning principle of specificity which basically states that the activity you want to improve is best accomplished by doing that activity. Therefore, we will enhance our yoga practice by using repetition and holding postures for a length of time in order to improve our physical, mental and emotional condition for yoga.
